Hey guys, new to the forum. Just got my 2004 commemorative convertible and was wondering which gas you guys would use? 93 octane with 10% ethanol or 91 octane with no ethanol from shell. Thanks ahead of time!

E10 sucks, E15 is worse. do not use it and call your Congressman. They are about to make our cars undriveable. I will not put crap gas in my car. 91 min all real gas in my Vette
E85 takes some conversion.
Stop this before it is to late. Burning corn is no answer. Drilling in America is the answer!

Wish I could get 91/0 here in Florida. I use V-Power 93/10.

The hottest I can find; 91-93 and jet fuel if available!!
jet fuel is probably the worst possible thing you could put in a C5. Its not a jet. JetA and JetA-1 are a kerosene based fuel used in gas turbine jet engines. very similar to diesel.
Now Avgas is another animal used in piston driven aircraft. not to be confused with JetA or JetA-1
Avgas can be as low as 100 octane and as high as 130. Using more octane than needed to control detonation will seriously inhibit performance.

probably the second worst choice, only thing worse would be JetA. 87 octane gas is used on engines that produce less than 9:1 compression. Octane ratings are designed around compression ratios, loads, barometric pressure, air density and temperature.
