I just got an 02 Z with flush mounted tail lights. I'm not a fan of the look at all. To return the lights back to the stock recessed look do I need to buy stock brackets or is there just a spacer that I can remove from behind the light that pushes it further forward?
I know the question is pretty basic and I could probably just take the light apart and figure it out but if there's some stock brackets or something else I need to buy first I'd rather do that before taking things apart.

No "brackets", just remove the spacers.
Note: You WILL however, need the OE stock screws to replace the longer ones used in these "flush" kits. If I were you, I would have these on hand before dismantling.
Same thing...had the flush mounts for a couple weeks before I removed them. Part of the corvette's character is the recessed tail lights. I hated the flushies. Worst part is the dang flush mount seals I put in also kind of scratched the paint.
