My wife's '01 (Forum name Snowhite) was involved in a slight fender bender in late June (not her fault). One of the end results was a plethora of codes relating to the EBCM, even though the area the module was in was not directly impacted (coincidence? maybe, but I don't believe it). The insurance company fought me on repairing the EBCM, especially after the local Chevy dealer quoted nearly $1800 to replace it. I settled with them for a slightly reduced amount, and they paid me.
I sent the unit to Brandon at ABSfixer.com, and the turnaround time was super fast. I installed the repaired unit, but still kept receiving a false wheel sensor code (1233). All the recommended tests came up negative and I called Brandon to discuss my options.
He told me that the unit needed more work than he could provide. He said he had some fully reconditioned units coming and he would send me a new one. He then offered to credit the $150 for the previous repairs when I sent back the old unit. He also sent out the new unit with next day delivery, and I had the unit replaced an hour after receiving it.
All the codes are cleared and Snowhite's car is ready for Funfest this week.

Snow's car was Chief's Choice and Ken Lingenfelter's Celebrity Choice in 2011. Since then, she and Ken have become friends and her car has been featured at several of Lingenfelter's Breast Cancer fund raisers. We go every year and she was really hoping to take her car this year. LINK
