After redoing my seats, shift boot, parking brake boot, steering wheel cover, my old parking brake handle was looking out of place. I ordered a new leather handle cover from Redline Goods last spring, along with leather visor covers. I finally installed the handle cover today, while wiring in the seat heaters I installed when I re-skinned the seats.
The handle cover is made of high-quality leather and has a nice pebble grain texture that nicely matches the boot, but it does not fit very well. The biggest problem is that the leather is thick enough, especially at the seams, that there is not enough room for the release button to move freely. I ended up having to cut it so the seams don't fold down into the top cavity. It looks bad - sloppy, with these unfinished edges/corners.
I'm thinking I will have to go with a handle that is already wrapped. I see a few available from vendors - usually in the $70-100 range. Of course, the one from Vette Essentials looks very nice but is also $160.
Can anyone who has done this offer any recommendations/thought/reviews?
Thanks!

You're right that the Vette Essentials one is expensive, but IMO, well worth the extra money. I have one on mine and top quality leather, workmanship and looks great in the car.
