I think the NGK hype has a lot to do with monkey-see, monkey-do. A few people like or use them and more and more then blindly follow suit because someone else (their buddy/magazine article/big name tuner) is using them, etc. NGK does in fact, make some good product, but waay too many people worshiping at their altar based on what someone posted/said/recommended.
