Default Battery Tender connection through plug in front???

In one of the battery tender threads I remember seeing someone having their tender hooked up through a plug in the front of the car. I'm getting tired of popping the hood and running the cables, lazy yes...

Does anyone remember the thread or have their tender hooked up this way??

Thanks.

I like the plug from Southern Car Parts. Scroll to the bottom.

Don't remember one in the front but there was one that plugged into a connection next to the rear licence plate lights, called the Stealthlink.

I connect my Ctek to the lighter socket.

I wired my battery maintainer up to a cigarette lighter plug. I bought a cheap cigarette lighter cable extender at Radio Shack, cut off the plug, and wired it up to the maintainer.

I plug the maintainer into the jack in the console. The cigarette lighter jack would also work.

I also plug my battery tender plus in at the center console. Works out well.

Same here. I plug it in the center console. I have a Ctk 3300.
Works with my red top Optima battery. Corvette must be always using power because the ctk always stays on charge. Only when I put it on standby then back to AGM setting does the light turns green (maintenance charge). Then light goes back to orange (charge) after 20 mn or so. Wonder if anyone else has the same experience.
I called Ctk and they confirmed that it's normal because the Corvette is always drawing power even with alarm on.
Ctk does get warm on charge mode.
