Good Morning,
One of the flags on my front emblem is raised up and I want to re-glue it down. What is the best type of glue to use on this. i apologige for this probably being a silly question but I want to do it the correct way and I know that you all have the best answers.

The emblems are not glued down to the car. Glue would have bad effects on the paint if the emblem was ever removed or replaced. The factory uses a very thin double sided sticky tape. Check out various forum vendors such as Ecklers or Mid American for the product.

Just get some double-sided sticky tape, a razor blade and some alcohol wipes. The tape at Lowe's or HD is thin enough. Clean both surfaces thoroughly, cut around your emblem with the razor and install.
The tape I bought at Lowe's matched the thinness of the other tape used for the lettering that was still intact, so the thickness of the tape shouldn't be a concern.

Double sided tape holds the entire emblem to the front of the car, but the inserts that go in the emblem are held in place with glue. Not sure which part has come loose, but if the emblem itself is lifting, 3M double sided tape will stick it back on.

Mr. B's right. It never occurred to me that the flag in the emblem was peeling. If that's the case, you'll need to glue it.
I'd mask t'hell out of the area before I'd drip glue on the painted surface, or take the emblem off to glue the flag.
