Your hunch was correct. There is no info when I check with the gauges button on the dash. My tire gauge is just fine to check tire pressure. Thanks for the info.

Test drive complete. First, the following post is from a virgin C5 driver...I have driven C3 & 4's but never the C5 let alone a z06.

Here goes:
First thing the owner and I did was check the error codes. Before I got there I sent him the link to the youtube video on how to do this which was new to him. No error codes whatsoever before or after the 30 minute test drive.

No leaks on the garage floor; headlights went up and down with no hesitation and no noise; clean carfax, called a GM dealer with the VIN and got the service history: column lock recall completed, wheel alignment, oil changes etc.

Minor paint chips, nothing major; after all its used and 12 years old. Interior was in very good condition, very minor wear on the driver leather seat.

Car has new tires brakes and rotors with about 1k miles on them.

Test drive was...how do I put this.... was freakin awesome! The power of this car was a little intimidating. Vehicle felt mechanically sound and solid...drove like a dream. The clutch took a little getting used to.

Long story short, paperwork is going to the loan company on monday (loan company penfed.org...found on this forum), and i hope to pick it up next weekend.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO RESPONDED TO THIS POST...I'm a forum member on many different websites and i have to say this is one of the best!

I hope one day after being an owner for awhile I can contribute to this community in some way.

The only negative thing about this purchase is that I'm a Bears fan and I'm buying from a Packers fan!
