Default Installed XPEL Bra

Just returned from Mid-America's Funfest in Effingham IL where I had an EXPEL clear bra and rocker panel covers installed on my Z06. I am very impressed with the product. Unless you know where to look, it is not noticeable. Even if your know where to look, it is hard to see it.

Mark, my installer (Webster Grove, MO) did an excellent job with the installation and addressing my followup concerns. Andrew (Hoffman Estates, IL) another installer was also extremely helpful with the installation.

I was watching them do this at the event. I need to fix some paint issue before I spend $900 on a clear bra

Nice to have the extra protection on the paint. Should keep the car looking great for many years.

Do you have to remove the wax/sealant/polish before the clear bra can be installed?

We typically wipe the areas down with an alcohol and water solution which does remove some wax in the process. But its not required.

You could have your bumper repainted twice for that price!
But you would have never had the opportunity to meet dudes from Hoffman Estates, IL and Webster Grove, MO.

At about $0.75 per lb for lldpe there is probably about 15-20 cents of material in a clear bra for a C5.

So for $900, you get some "Happy Endings" I'm guessing

Selling/installing clear bras and window film is a good business to be in. A lot easier and less costly than extruding poly.

Hoffy's a pretty place. Driven through it numerous times when my kid was still living in Streamwood.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Farm? Man, times change and things grow. My kid was living just a few blocks west of Barrington @ Buttita Dr. Small world.
