After researching on the forum...I will be Dropping my 02Z off at ECS in about 2 weeks to have the valve springs replaced. They are going to replace them with Manley beehive single coils. I ordered MSD wires and NGKTR55 plugs to have them do as well while its apart. Does this sound good to you guys? Good spring choice? Anything else they should look at? Only mods to the car is a Vararam intake. No cam or anything in the near future for me. Thanks, John
I'd have them check to make sure all the pushrods are straight and that the rocker arm bearings are all intact. You might as well get the Comp Cams trunnion kit and have them install that too while in there. The stock rocker arm needle bearings have been known to be a weak link also ... but not as bad as the valve springs.
