I added heads and cam at 91,000 then at 135,000 added a supercharger. These engines are just getting broke in at 100,000 miles.

Wrench on it and have a good time doing it!

If you have doubts, do a leak down test on each cylinder, check your oil pressure, change the oil and look at the old oil and see if it has metal in it, if not rock on!

Spend the money on flying lessons. Much bigger thrill. Who cares if 0-60 is slightly better after spending $10,000........Big deal! Still just a boring car relegated to the surface of the earth.

So you can fly in a jet doing over 500 kts and not even know you're moving. How is that exciting??

Now if it has an afetrburner, well that's something different altogether

Used to be fun to fly...until I got cars that pulled harder than the planes taking off.

In short - YES!

There are many things you can do to it -

LT Headers and hiflow cats and Xpipe -
C5 Z06 TI Mufflers or another aftermarket set (B&B Fusion)
Heads and Cam
LS6 manifold
Ported and Polished TB
VARARAM
Dyno tune

That will net you a cool 430+ RWHP and still get great MPG

TRUE BOLT ON: Most performance dollar for dollar!

However a simple and easy bolt on would be a supercharger and with your miles you should keep it at 8-10 PSI of Boost and you will have 500+ RWHP and cost about the same or little less than the above list!

Thanks,Matt

This raises some questions. Would you not want to at least upgrade your intake and exhaust if putting on a supercharger? Do you really want to use the stock set up with a superchanger? Also wouldn't a dyno tune be advisable to get the most benefit?

If the car is in good mechanical condition, performance upgrades should be OK.
