I have a chance to pick up a new Le Mans blue hood for, I live in LI ny hood is in Denver any ideas welcome, seller says 850 to ship which is a deal killer.
Thanks will post a WTB in the parts, what was so attractive is the Le Mans Blue no repaint cost, the hood I have has a crack in the hat section bonded at the aft left side of the hood, I think someone really pulled on it with one latch still locked and cracked it.

Most people are willing to give a stock hood away once they buy a custom hood.. there are thousands of stock hoods around.. my question is why would you need another hood? You did not explain why or what the seller wanted for the hood.

I sold the stock hood off my '00 when I installed an MCM hood on the car. Guy that bought it lived in Chicago and I used the box the MCM hood came in to ship it. I shopped around and finally went with FedEx ground - they gave me a great discount as a first time customer and ended up costing only $120 to ship. The hood arrived in perfect shape. $850 to ship a hood is insane. If you really want that particular hood, recommend the seller check with FedEx ground and see what they might charge.
