Yep, I had this problem with my 99 C5 (I'm assuming you have power sport seats, right?).
Turns out there's an electrical connector underneath the seat in the front part. About every 3-4 months I have to wiggle mine due to an intermittent connection for no good bloody reason. It takes all of 3-5 seconds to do, but it just makes me shake my head.
I've had the connector apart and brushed the connections to make them clean/shiny, but it still does it every 3-4 months. I've chalked it up to "Go figure." and just do it.
its electric but not sport seats..any way I can get seat moved backed so I can get in car?if I can get it moved back where I need it I will just unplug until I can get fixed.. I currently have the seat out of car..
