michelin slicks are available. i remember a post in the road race section, they may be a bit too sticky for stock brakes and suspension though
if the car is stock-ish something like the toyo r888 would help keep you from breaking parts from the massive increase in traction you'll have on slicks

my car isnt stock.
I am currently running Pirelli's , but I got them used.
The local guys I run with use Pirelli's and Hoosiers.
I will ask them about the Michelin and where there get theirs this weekend.

Forum member GT Tires sells race car takeoffs in 18". The tires work great, are cheap and Todd & Greg are serious Corvette enthusiasts who use the tires they sell. Their service is great and they can advise you on application since they use the tires.
