Just want to say thanks Kevin for giving me the great deal on the fenders . To Joey you are the man for making this all happen. The workmanship is amazing. I can't wait to get these on my car. Wish I was on the west coast so I could just stand and admire them for an hour or so. Thanks again Joey.

I will definatley post pics with them on the car. From the first time I saw how Joey molded these into his fenders, I knew this is what I wanted to do on mine. The factory rocker vents look fine on the C5 Z06 but never really cared for the look of them mounted on the coupe. Just didn't look like they belong on the coupe. IMO. This is why I asked Joey if he could take on this project. These flow with the lines of the car plus I will be utilizing the factory C6 brake air ducts and scoop inserts. Got another set of the scoop inserts to be sent off to get hydrocarboned. These fenders are going to look awesome with the 20x12 Sport Muscle GS wheels, carbon fiber side skirts, front splitter, and hopefully if someone can make one, a rear diffuser.

This thing stopped being a vette long ago. It seems as if he is modding for the sake of modding and not for function or design. It stinks of rice. He has awesome talent in fabrication but this mod is not my cup of tea

He said as much a long time ago.

He's using the vette as a basis for his own work because he likes the chassis, engine, suspension, etc.

Not unlike George Barris using the Lincoln Futura as a basis for the Batmobile.

Besides, who cares? It's his car to enjoy as he sees fit.

Man I don't know why everyone rags on this vette. I don't think he gives a damn about what you think. I love alot of what he is doing and think he has some excellent fabrication skills. If you don't like somthing keep it to yourself so others can enjoy his work. I'm not paying for his car or mods so I don't have the right to make negative comments. I've been going to car shows and cruises my entire life and have heard people ******* someone else's car or mine right in front of them. Think how every one of you is proud of your car and if someone doesn't like your chrome tailight louvers or exhaust plate it hurts. My car is very custom and it hurts when someone dogs something on my car but it's my car and unless you want to reimburse me then don't say anything if you can't say something nice.....

Sooooo.... rather than post the negativity,.....why not just "unsubscribe" from the thread, and let the rest of us enjoy watching the build? I mean, yeesh!! It's not like it really ~matters~ whether you like it or not! It's not yours! It never WILL be! Noone is trying to MAKE you like it! If you dislike it sooooo much, stop watchin!

Me?....man, I can't WAIT to see what's next!

Can't wait to see this start up again. Find it amazing how judge mental people can be. Very few of us can really appreciate until the final brush stroke is complete. Even then it will come down to personal taste, some will love others will ?????. It's your car and from what I have seen the work and creativity are fantastic. Stay true to yourself.

Been making bankroll and started to drop cash on parts and more things for the car.

I recently picked up a set of R35 seats from a crashed GTR for about $500 bucks and some used 17" racing tires. Probably going to use my sparco bottom brackets and just modifying the rest to fit.

GTR seats? Look like a Recaro job. Good call. I keep looking at the Evo X seats.

cage will be last thing done to the car.

While I've had breaks, my final decisions of the build have came in.

I will not be using a quarter panel vent

I will not be using the miata door handles, shaved doors with door poppers instead

The X seats won't fit

I have the Evo IX seats and need the adapter brackets altered so the seats can fit; those seats are a tight enough squeeze, let alone the larger ones from the Evo X

Hmm, I didn't think they were that much bigger. My buddy has an Evo8, I'll check his out for fit and maybe go that route.

Those GTR seats look bad ***.
