Hello all,
I just wanted to give you all a heads up. My loving wife bought me an awesome birthday gift on living social. It was to Race a 2012 Z06 around the pocono raceway.
The comany is called racing Box.us
If you type in Corvette racing experience on google you will get there site.
They are still offering more races at Pocono but Pocono raceway does not know the company and advised that they were never scheduled for the track.
I am upset because this would have been a really cool bday gift. I am in the process of getting a refund with living social( they are doing a good job).
I just wanted to info my fellow forum members of this issue so they do not get scammed like I did.
thank you
Nick
No need to get scammed. If you paid via PayPal or with a CC, then lodge a complaint and ask for your $$ back. If you paid with cash, then contact your local DA and see what he says. If you paid by check, find out who cashed it and again talk with your local DA. No need to give your $$ away. You might have some way to recover. Keep us updated.
Very interesting! My kids bought me a Racing Box package here in Ontario for September. About 2 days before the event, we were informed that it was cancelled because the transport carrying their cars was held at the border. I thought it smelled at the time, now I know it did. The good news is that the kids got their money back. The bad news is that we didn't get a Christmas present.

thanks everyone, I did get my money back, and to the post from 4krusin, that was the same type of an email I got. Yes they were turned into Law Enforcement but I think they are over seas and as long as people are getting their money back there is not much living social can do,
Have a great weekend
