Default Something I found in the attic

I posted this over in C4 general, I thought some may get a kick out of it.

I hang out in the C5 area since that's my current ride, but while cleaning out my attic I found something that I figured some C4 owners would get a kick out of, it's the March of 1983 edition of Car and Driver featuring the New (back then) Corvette road test.
I thought that was pretty cool to find a 30 year old magazine in almost new condition, and reading the article and how much praise the C4 got was awesome

I also found about 25 other mags on nothing but Vettes all were printed in the late 70s and early 80s

To be honest I never even thought about it, I'm definitely going to read them first and then who knows, I guess someone out there might would want to own them, I would not have any issue with letting anyone else barrow and read them either if they Really wanted to.

That's what I try to tell everyone. The C4 was praised just like all new vette designs are praised.

We say the C5 was leaps and bounds ahead of the C4? The C4 was leaps and bounds ahead of anything in it's day. So much so they were kicked out of racing and had to start their own circuit.

Good find.

I'm guilty of not throwing car magazines away.

I have a lot of them accumulated over the years (probably over a thousand). I have a room where I have them organized in bookshelves by the magazine name and by date. I have almost every Hot Rod back to the mid 60's and a few older ones. I also have a lot of Car Craft, Motor Trend, Car & Driver, Popular Hot Rodding, Road & Track, Muscle Car Review, Super Chevy, Chevy High Performance, and a mixture of others.

They are a great reference and fun to look at some of the older comments about our cars. I frequently look for articles about any car I am thinking about buying to get some impressions from when they were new or to look at the specs.

Cool find. I recently moved and in the packing process, came across some old magazines that I kept with articles on Corvettes. It's fun to read the old articles. Came across a lot of old Hot Rod mags too.

If you have a scanner, maybe you could just scan the pages for the C4 review and assemble them into a PDF and post a link.

If you don't have the capability, I wouldn't mind doing that for you. I've got plenty of web server space for stuff like this.

Nice find. Would be a good addition to an '84 Vette owner and a good read for any Corvette enthusiast.
