Default 'always on' low beams

I attempted to install the harness that keeps the lowbeams on when the high beams are turned on. I've not had any success with the harness I received. Has anyone else here installed that harness, and what kind of luck did you have? The vender (a forum supporter)does not take phone calls and only works off E-mail. I'm going to install the high beam HID's (already have lows) and I want this mod to work before proceeding.

I'm awaiting a response from the vender.

I have the same harness and decided not to use it, I went with the relay in the fuse box, A lot easier install.

Here is the file.

Thanks Bill,
Where did you get it, or did you build it?
It looks to be basically the same,

Installed on mine a while back and worked perfectly. I don't have HIDs though. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not but it was seamless. No issues.

I used a relay from Radioflyer - installed in about 5 minutes with no problems. Been running it for the past month.

I installed Radioflyer's Hi-4 harness in about fifteen minutes by following these instructions.

Sent an email back. The only issue I've ever seen is the fuse taps coming out a bit. Unfortunately we can't tighten them up more before shipping.

I just installed the Hi-4 from Radioflyer, sounds like the one you are describing. Installed in about 5 mins, works perfectly.

Not to be a killjoy, but in the spirit of disclosure, the NHTSA says the fogs have got to go off.

Wouldn't want to break any laws in our Corvettes, would we!

I used the JWMotoring Four-On harness. I installed it per the instructions in about 15 minutes and it has worked as advertised. I do have to check and occasionally retighten the ground connection, but that's not an issue with the harness.

I sent him some things to check. If it doesn't work we'll replace it or refund him for it. We make them in house and stand behind them 100%

After some trouble shooting, it appears there is some kind of short in the relay socket and JW is sending me a new unit. It should arrive this week. He did not hesitate, once we figured out where the problem lies.

Thanks to all.

You probably got the one in 1,000 that has a problem. Let us know if the new unit solves your issue.
