Default Caliper opinions

Looking for some opinions because I can't decide. My calipers are already red but I was thinking about doing them yellow and the lettering in black to match the car. What do you all think?

I think it would look best with a set of black wheels.. Not to say you won't LOVE it. I have always just dug the look that members have posted with the scheme you are talking about with black wheels...

If you really want it you should just try I think.

I like calipers to contrast the body color rather than match it. perhaps consider a fresh powder coat of red or maybe changing the shade slightly and going with something like Mag Red or C6 Crystal Red.

I agree with tbrent. Yellow calipers with black rims would look hot.

While I love the red, when I saw the '13 GS in dark gray with the gray calipers, I was sold.

That's damn hot with the rim stripe to match.

I think I'll always prefer red calipers, but I have to admit that the yellow car with black wheels and yellow calipers looks damn good.

While I'm not a fan of white, my C4 was white with glass roof, tinted windows, and black wheels. It was understated, but looked so good, I fell in love with the car (plus driving it). While the torch red and yellow are my favorite Corvette colors, it can be TOO MUCH yellow. All blacked out roof, black wheels, raw carbon ZR1 kit all around and the yellow POPS without being overwhelming.

To me anyway.

Perrrfect! Be sure to post pics as you get this done! I think you are planning on painting the stock calipers right? If you are I think I would paint the bracket too... I think Allmotor has this pictured with his blue beauty up above!

At this point, OP might as well upgrade to c6z brakes also!
Also, to answer the question about doing yellow color: YES!
