What other forums do you frequent for your C5 corvette reading needs? The only other ones I get on are LS1tech.com and Z06vette.net
Any others I am missing that are big and have posting that takes place frequently???
I look at LS1tech occasionally, especially for technical stuff. I have fewer than 30 posts over there.
I joined Z06vette but was banned forever after three or four completely innocuous posts. Maybe it was a case of mistaken identity. I don't know. If one of their mods is a member on here maybe he can enlighten me.
I'm also on a regional all-makes board, horsepowerjunkies.com. It's mostly based in the Carolinas, but it has some members from out your way too. It has an edgy, younger crowd, but they're just as passionate about their cars.
I look at two other sites besides those mentioned already. Digitalcorvettes.com and actioncorvettes.com. Digital has a guy on it that is pretty knowledgeable about the C-5. He also publishes videos on Youtube about maintenance actions like R&R your windshield motor, waterpump and a few other items. It's a real help. Action corvettes is about tech items. They are both free. The rest of my computer time is spent on forums for motorcycles and flying.
This is the only one for me with my C5. I race Radio Controlled professionally so I frequent other RC sites. So to not juggle too many I keep it to a few really good ones who have good tech info. That is what got me started on the net in forums anyways was looking for Unlimited Engineering RC Maxx parts.
When I first got my 'Vette, I visited corvetteactioncenter and digitalcorvettes, but at the time I didn't feel that there was nearly as much traffic as here at corvetteforum.
That was six years ago, so perhaps I should go back and see if anything's changed.
I used to go on CAC a lot. It's gotten kind of quiet over there the last couple of years, though. I hang out mostly at Stovebolt.com because of my 49 Chevy P.U. A lot of good wrenching advice over there.
