Just bought a 2001 C5 and looking at addressing some of the interior issues. The current interior is black and gray. The vinyl is releasing from the arm rest area which seems pretty normal for these cars and the speaker grills on both sides have some slight rust on the bottom of each screen.
I found a set of all black door panels that were removed when the owner bought the car new and were stored inside ever since. They are flawless and look brand new. He is wanting $500 for the pair. Seem high or about right? Any opinions welcome!
Out of curiosity I checked ebay, seems most panels are going for $200 each (that's with shipping included) so $400 would be your total for the pair. I'd talk him down a bit, but his price isn't too unreasonable
I did the same. Given the wear and tear on most of those and these being basically NOS, seems like they may be right in line price wise. I wills ee if there is anymore room for negotiating.
