Mike, please add me to the list of folks interested in the info on those bulbs. I'm in the same boat as you...dark tint on the back window and always opening my door to check for obstacles back there!
Awesome find!
Thanks. The best part about the bulbs is that they do not require a ballast. Plug and play at its best! Now the entire exterior lights have been converted to LED's and HID's in the headlights and fogs
Hi Mike...please PM details on these. Looks promising and I just had a back up light burn out so I'm going to need to be replacing the bulbs soon. These sound and look promising!
That looks amazing. How much wattage are the factory bulbs, like 12?
I don't have the adjure plate frame, would an LED bulb in the stock housing be pointless? I would like better output without blowing budget. Still trying to save up and consider LED tails...
I just installed them in the stock housing and they sure look bright. Would they be better in the adjure housing? probably but you can easily swap the lamps to the adjure later if you want.
Forget the reaching up over the exhaust or removing tail lights. The easiest way to get to and install the reverse lamps is to remove the license plate bracket. Remove your license plate, remove 4 T15 torks screws and the whole assembly comes off. Push the lacking tab and twist the sockets. You can now clean and wax/polish behind the plate bracket, install the two new bulbs (hit your lock button on your fob to test) and reinstall everything. Admire your work.
