I really don't hammer the brakes on the street much......but when i was bedding in the pads on the street right after i installed them, i noticed a pretty substantial difference compared to the stock brakes right away

Good for you! I too noticed a whopping increase in stopping force when I went to the 6 piston/4 piston Grand Sport BBK. Did you notice your pedal is softer, but the car stops way faster? You never need to lean on the brakes as with the stock pads, or even the Hawk HPS pads.
