Default Turn Signal Question

I am experiancing an intermittent issue with my turn signals and was looking for some advice.

Over the past two weeks my turn signals have stopped flashing occassionally. The bulbs light but there is no flash. My first thought is the relay, looked last night, could not locate.

Any thoughts?

Mine did this also. I installed a bypass that I made with the help of this forum for about $15.00. Found it in the ultimate DYI thread in the C5 tech forum. Or you can spend $65.00 for one from a vendor. Cured my flasher problem and if you decide to go with led lights you won't have an issue with hyper flash.

I agree with 8VETTE7. 95% or more of these issues is caused by the "Flasher" internal to the Hazard Switch.

If it is your "flasher unit" internal to the Hazard Switch then using a Hyperflash bypass or installing a new Hazard Switch will fix your issue. I had the same issue and it was the flasher in the Hazard Switch. Since I was putting in a CD radio I did the following mod which was half the cost of a Hyperflash. They call it Hyperflash because it was intended to be used with LED lights but it will work just fine with OEM bulbs.

Thanks for the input. Found the link to the fix. I will add it to my list of things to do...

OH, one more thing....

I have switchback LED's and installed a hyperflash unit last fall. Is it possible that unit is bad?
