Highs in the twenties this coming week in Wisconsin. It's time to put them away here.

I know it is coming, but as long as there is no salt on the roads I will keep driving it. I am hoping for a few more weeks.

Default And what else did you do?

I'm thinking besides the obvious cover/mats, you

1) used a battery tender or took out the battery
2) put silicone on the weather stripping
3) put fuel stabilizer in the tank, did not engage the parking brake
4) inflated the tires to somewhere between 36/40 psi
5) detailed the entire vehicle
6) change the oil
7) put rodent repellent in a couple of different places
8) put in moisture absorbing packets

Now, what did I miss? I'm a week away and have completed most of the tasks above. But still don't want to miss something. Thanks

I shove stainless steel pot scrubbers up the tailpipes to keep mice from building a nest in the mufflers. Socks will work.
What kind of rodent repellent do you use? I use Irish Spring.

Though I was going to have a heat stroke today, it was 83 or 84 and felt hotter.

I chose not to put the car to sleep for the winter. I just add fuel stabilizer and keep the battery charged. If there's no salt, I'll take the car out every week or two. If the roads are bad, I'll just run it up and down my driveway then put it back in the garage. Neighbors must think I'm crazy. After a few months of this it'll be spring.

Mine is under the car cover for now but hope I still get to drive it some in the next month or so. Going to turn cold here on Tuesday so it will depend on what Mother Nature does.

Yeah, I have the dryer sheets and Irish Spring in the C5. I did use mothballs in my C3 when I stored it. Forgot about that trick.
