Default PF 58 Oil Filter

Anyone using a PF 58 Oil Filter instead of the PF44. It holds more oil than the PF 44!

I perfer the UPF44. To bad they don't make a UPF 58.

I guess its the same as the PF 35s on the older 350s instead of the PF 25. I think the PF 35 is the truck filter and was larger then the PF 25 as well.

I found that the 58 dragged the ground too much with my lowered car. I stick with the 44.

I use moble 1 filters, head and shoulders above PF44. Also use Amsoil 0w30 car revs better than with moble 1,oil temp runs cooler also. Amsoil reccomends changing oil every 35,000.or once a year with a new filter every 6 months. :D

I was thinking the same thing ... Humm, lets see ... punctured oil filter -- leaking oil -- smoked motor.

Stick with the shorter filter. :yesnod:
