Thought I'd share my Winter mods with you guys since the car is in winter hibernation. (Oregon)
I'm sure some of you have done this, Thought I'd share my version
with pictures.
Took my Stock Door Reflector and black them out.
Grab your stock Door Reflector:
Get some 3M Black reflective tape (3x8 should be fine):
Apply to your Door Reflector (With heat gun to smooth the edges, then trim with razor):
Install:
And with the Flash or any source of light it'll reflect in white brighter than the red:
They came out pretty sweet.
Again, thought I'd share.
Hope you guys enjoyed.
Thanks.

Reason: Correction on Tape size
Looks good. I have been trying to decide what to do with mine. I like the idea of keeping the reflective part. Where did you find the 3m tape?
I got my sheets off that "Auction" site. Simply type in “3M Black reflective tape.”
Look for 3x8 sheets. It's enough to cover the reflector.
Use a heat gun or Blow dryer to Stretch/Wrap the vinyl around the edges.
That Vinyl is strong & easy to work with.

Reason: Correction on sheet size. 3x8 is the correct size.
Finally got around to doing this and I must say, I really like the look of the non-red reflectors. Got the tape in the mail a few days ago but had to wait until my weekend to do it. I think they turned out great. You'll have to excuse the finger prints, I need to wipe them off. Couldn't get mine to reflect like the OP's though.

Those 3M tapes are pretty Strong.
Again, Looks great.
