hey guys I traded my truck for a 99 z06. it has a fast 92, ls2 tb, full exhaust, a 3800stall converter and has been tuned and lowered. they guy told me there are no adjustment bolts in it and that is why it sits so low. i dont really like the way it rides and i cant get it in my drive way so i want to bring it back to near stock height. how do i know when its back at stock hight? a certain number of threads showing or turns on adjustment bolts? also im wanting to put a cam in it, that will give a modest hp gain but still get good mpg like it does now. Any input id appreciated guys!

I hope you didnt pay Z06 prices for a non-Z06...
Not only was the Z06 only offered after 2001, but it was also only offered with a manual transmission - not an auto like you have. If your Vette has a trunk, then you have the hardtop model (aka fixed roof coupe, or FRC). Otherwise, it is a standard coupe with the glass hatch in the rear.

EDIT: looks like the FRC was also only offered with a manual transmission, so you probably have the standard coupe (assuming it's not a convertible).
it has the removable targa top. not a vert. and i traded him a duramax i spent 7400$ on the vette has 120k on it. and thanks i will read that link when i get home. so then that means these are ls1 heads right? he says they are mildly ported stock heads. I have a set of new 799 heads with springs already but a guy is suppose to buy them for 500$
You can buy lowering bolts from Hardbar or from one of the Corvette specialty houses, jack up the spring from the lower control arm (use a block of wood so it doesn't damage the spring) and put in the lowering bolts in the front spring. The Hardbar lowering bolts are easier to install in this case since they have buttons on the bottom but can be put in from the top. You should be able to get the car back up to between 4.5 and 5" as measured at the front jacking point, and about 1/4 of an inch higher in the back than the front as measured at the rear jacking point.
Put some liquid wrench on the threads and make sure the bolts turn easily so you don't damage the inserts in the springs. If the bolts start to bind up, stop, add some kind of lube and don't let them get messed up. If you ruin the inserts you are looking at a new spring, so just be careful.
