Default C5 gauges going wild

Hi Bill,
Thanks for responding to my thread. I tried replying to your response through email but I think that didn't work(sorry,I'm a computer dummy).
I forwarded your message to my brother,he definitely is more mechinacally inclined than I am. We did try to unplug the 4 wire star data connector & that seemed to solve the issue. We didn't know where the LDCM & RDCM were located but assumed that they are located in the doors so we disconnected the 4 connectors(2 on each side) in the door jamb area. that didn't work, neither did removing fuse #4 to the drivers seat module. The BCM area was not wet or damp.
Is there any way to isolate between the LDCM andRDCM?
Thanks again for your help & advice,
greatly appreciated

Wish I was home with the Star Connector schematic. The LDCM is in the left door and the RDCM is in the right door. If Bill does not chime in first I can help you later. If you pulled the gray cover off the 4 wire Star Connector to isolate those inputs you can jumper each one individually back into the Serial Bus to figure out which door side is giving you the problem. I just need the schematic to tell you which pins to jumper for each module.
