Default new vette co-owner

recently i purchased a c5 convertable cherry red for my father who has wanted a vette since 1995, i was only able to come by this vehicle because it came up for bid by a county auction. she is running in good generally, but there is a number of things needing repair such as the passenger side door which is unresponsive. i have checked the fuses and even replaced the control module but it is still dead, and while i'm stuck waiting for the title and registration of the vehicle, anyone have any ideas? i have been told that only option left is the wiring, but hopefully someone out there has a better knowledge of this??

Depending on the year, you car is either Magnetic Red, Anniversary Red or possibly Carmine Red.

Congratulations on your purchase. Now to answer a question we all have to understand the question. What is unresponsive? (Sorry about being such a stickler on such formalities, lol)

Neither the window or the door lock will work. It is a 2004 convertible.

To be more precise door lock works manually but will not work electrically from driver side or passenger side or remote. Yes I guess I will be needing the color for when I replace the front bumper cover.

Check the wires in the rubber wire boot between the door and body. You can pull it out enough to disconnect and then reconnect. It could be disconnected or the actual terminals inside the connector are not tight when slid together. Have you checked with a multimeter at the connections for the control modules? Check that out and then get back to us.
