Hmm.. seems like you're both short on periods. Here, have some of mine:
........................................ ........................................ ........................................ ........................................ ........................................ ........................................ ........................................

Hope that helps. OP post pictures of your new vette when you get it Be careful of modded cars. Make sure you get lots of documentation to make sure the work was done right.

Not a problem, I was just jokin with ya. You will find that you will get more (and better quality) responses if you take the time to format your posts. It makes it easier for people to read and respond to your questions.

This forum is a great resource. I've been here several years now and have received lots of great help from people. Feel free to ask as many questions as you need. You should learn to use the search part of the forums as well as that will also give you a lot of great information gathered throughout the years.

Good luck in your search

Also, use NADA to check value on any car you consider; it is extremely accurate, unlike the crackpot numbers you will see from KBB and Edmunds...

Mods are typically 50 cents on the dollar, if you like the mods; remember, they are used parts, so don't pay as though they were new in the box on top of the value of the car

Good luck

Thanx guys. Im actually a lil worried bout gettin a car with a blower I want it really bad but I would always be worried bout lean conditions and reliability. I dnt mind changing valve springs every winter for cam but how reliable is a procharged vette these days? Ive heard of many success storys but I dnt always have the best luck. Ive had a heads cam f-body with very lil issues do u guys think I should stay away from a blown car for my first vette and kinda stick to what I kno (heads cam) or would yall not think twice bout car with a blower?

You will be much better off with a mild boost supercharger than a heavily modified and cammed motor.

I like the nostalgia of the naturally aspirated motors, but when you get radical with cams, heads, etc. you are really putting more stress on the motor overall.

There is a reason most manufacturers are going to the supercharger/turbo route. Best way to make reliable power that is easier to drive.

Don't really agree with this statement, although an otherwise stock/supercharged car will have better street manners. If looking for a modded car, you need to be aware of weak points, often brought to the owner's attention by their breaking. First thing to stop working correctly is usually the clutch. Then, the differential and transmission aren't up to a lot of abuse, if the motor is upgraded. Lots of other areas of concern, like the balancer, and the torque tube bushings. Lots of small, ****ling problems, like electronics, etc.

I'm also in the 918...I'd be leery about posting my number on the internet FYI...

With your budget, I think you'll have a few good options. I'd look in KC, DFW, Houston, OKC as well. Also don't ignore the small towns, after months of searching and two months of hardcore searching mine turned up just 70 miles from my home.

Be patient and don't settle. Given your criteria you can probably find some good options here in the FS section from owners who have taken good care of their vehicles.

Be patient. My son just bought an 04 with 8K miles, bone stock and mint for 26K. They are out there.
