Anybody had this problem. The center of my steering wheel, probably better known as the drivers side airbag unit is melting. It is very sticky to the touch and the black rubber(?) will literally come off on your hands. It has never had any chemical of any kind put on it. Anybody got a remedy?

This is a common problem with some years. I believe they changed the formula for the composition of the vinyl. Try doing a search on the site or better yet - Google the question and you will see how it was dealt with. Good luck.
