I noticed today on the Forum that a C-5 ZO6 had been stolen in Canada. It is a blue car. I did not see the original post, so I know nothing except what is on the Forum Web Page. I see a large number of highly modified ZO6 cars at Corvette shows in the Phoenix area. The region is an extremely active place for Corvettes, many of them highly modified. It would help to identify the stolen vehicle, if some specifics about the car were known. For example, what kind of engine modifications were done? Has the engine been changed? Are there any power adders such as nitrous or supercharger? At least the last four numbers of the VIN might help, although it may have been changed. With this information, I could watch carefully, especially as there will be even more Corvette activity during the many auto auctions held in the Valley of the Sun during January.
Thanks for the information. The owner said in his forum post that the engine was a 403. I wonder which block it had in it? I would like to know this, owing to the fact that creating this much power usually requires a cast iron block. Some time ago I saw a similar car, probably not the same one, but I am curious. I will try e-mailing the owner.
