If it works you could put one in with Homelink. I am spoiled by it on my C6.

That is it. The nice thing is they program to more than 1 type of system. I have 2 buttons set for the garage doors and 1 for my gate. Different type of remotes just different program process.

Put this project on hold due to the holidays and the wife C3 brakes went kaput and found the rear bearing bad as well. So now I'm temporally into C3 rear suspension and brake O/H. As soon as I get done with that I will return to the visors. Not a plug n play as the connecting plugs are oriented differently. It should not be too bad. I'm trying to see if I can remove the shaft out of the C5 and install them on the C6 visor. That would be the easiest way.
