The only mod you need is a supercharger.

I don't think I could justify spending $20K in mods on a C5 at this point. Before I did that, I would seriously consider looking at a very low mileage C6 and get that. Or just keep saving for the eventual C7.

3.42 diff + supercharger, double-DIN, bi-xenon lights.

Best brakes you can get.
Best flow with stock heads. This includes intake and exhaust.
After market Wheels if you like new and shiny things. Z06 wheels and a set of track day tires.

A real good tune that will allow you to maximize drivability, and mpg. There are a few guys out there who can do this and give you some really good HP gains with the improved flow.

You should be well within your budget and get a really good car.

I will include new seats as the standard seats just plain suck. Intake, headers, and cam (just because). Track rims with track tires - staggered or non-staggered?.
Do I need front and rear brake upgrades or just front...I have enough flexibility to do both if it will make a difference.
This is not going to be a racing machine but I prefer to get point bys versus giving point bys at the track!!

Default Made a choice

After spending 5 days in hospital including 1 night in ICU (feeling much better now) and coming home NewYears Eve it was clear to me that is too short. Re-looked at finance and paid the initial deposit on the 2014 Stingray 2LT !!!!!!
Unfortunately dealer is already over allocation so unless several people bail on their orders I will be top of the list for 2015.

Thanks for all the input. If I'm waiting a year I will be buffing and polishing my 99FRC for possible sale versus trade in.
