Default Corvette Museum or Assembly Line? Or both

Got to Bowling Green this evening and have a free morning tomorrow. Need to leave at 12pm to Lexington, then flying back to NC at 5pm.

Not sure how long each tour takes and was wondering how much I can get done in 3/3.5 hours. The assembly line tour starts at 8:30am.

Would I have enough time to rush through both "rides"? It will probably be a long time until I get back to KY again...

Thanks!

Last time I went on the plant tour, it lasted about 45 minutes to an hour. Well worth attending IMO. The rest of the time you could spend at the museum since it is right across the street from the plant. If it were me, I'd go to both places.

If you can make the 0830 plant tour jump on it, then any spare time hit the museum as long as you can. You could spend hours at the museum so plan on it next time around.

Length of the tour depends a lot on the guide you get. My first time the guide was a retired line worker, so we got to stop a lot and talk with the workers and he knew a lot of interesting details and little-known tidbits. The second time I went, the guide was a college-intern who moved us along according to "the schedule" - he was annoyed that I kept lagging behind at each stop. He also knew all the scripted things to say, but clearly didn't know much about Corvettes or Corvette history beyond the script.

Do the factory tour first, then spend whatever time you have left at the museum. Both are great.

Red cars are faster. They did a study on it.

All worked well. Got the the plant at 8:30, tour took around one hour and I still had a couple hours at the museum.

Really cool stuff, had never seen a production line working. Recommend the trip to anybody.
