OK so Im sitting here waiting for my 2004 LS1 to arrive from Texas. Snow on the ground here. temps been 24 below. cold. Garage warm waiting. Due here in 3 to 4 hours. My third Vette Ive owned in my life. First was an '80, next an '85 now my '04.... I haven't had a Vette in 10 years. Thought it was time. If I found the right one I would buy it. So here it comes and I cant drive it for months.....Minnesota is brutal but after Spring arrives and the first ride in the Vette and the first ride of the year on my Harley and it seems I appreciate them more....So here's to joining the best group around!

If this is an introduction. Welcome to the forum. If this is a rant, then you knew the weather conditions before making the purchase.
Bill aka ET
Hope you enjoy the C5 when ever you get to it.
All good responses. No rant and no complaints but I cant say Im a fan of the winter. I can picture myself trying to get it up a slippery snowy driveway though. We will see
I bought my car, put 2k miles on it in 10 days, then couldn't drive it for a week because of snow/ice. I drove it today, I couldn't resist. It got a bit dirty with all the gravel crap, but it'll wash off.

There are no dirty cars on this forum, only dirty girlfriends and their bisexual friends. Ask Torque
Good one ET. To the op, I to am on my third vette. Had a 73 a 96 now have an 04. You are going to love it. I try to get mine out at least once a month here in northern IL during the long winters. Good luck with it and enjoy.
I took her out on my favorite ride this afternoon. Bought her a full tank and a 20oz of Techron.
Now she's covered up again for tomorrow's snow storm.
Winter is the hardest time to own a Corvette.
