HID/Halo lighting

Hello. Has anyone upgraded their stock C5 headlights for a drop in HID replacement? If so, Can you send pics? Trying to find a good looking option. Thanks..

I put in the ACA style HID projectors with halos from forum vendor Corvettemods. I even wired the halos into the fog light switch so that they operated independently of the low beams. Here's a thread that I put up after I did the halos. I can give you the name/contact info of the harness maker if you're interested.

I have the same lights, with 5K 55W lighting....HUGE improvement over stock 70's lighting. A must for every car, around $300 and easy to install.

Do not use the $70 Hid kits that you plug into the stock lights. They do have projectors to properly aim the Hid Bulb, so all you do is put out real bright glare into everyone eyes...

I have the Black ones on my MY Z06 as well, you should get more!

Those do look very good. However, The black with the Halo are gone. The site also shows a direct replacement for the lights as a unit. Thanks for the quick response!!

There are other vendors...I picked Corvettemods for the lifetime warranty (lot of cheap ballast units out there these days) but JWM also sells them, and the best are from Radioflyer who offers Zenon units, but you'll pay for his stuff...

And the Halo, it's wasted....who drives a C5 with the lights up to just show the Halo? And when the lights are on, you can't see it....
