I store the car in winter, but since my garage is attached to my house, I don't leave any type of charger on it. Whenever I'm going to be playing with the snow blower in the driveway, I'll hook up the charger.
DW walked into our garage this morning and caught her foot on the cord of my charger and down it went with a crash. Fortunately it still works. Beware of all electrical cords and where you put them so unsuspecting folks don't trip.

....and hopefully, the falling charger didn't damage the car while crashing down.
I've stored my '98 for 12 years and never had any problems. I don't use a battery tender. I just disconnect the negative battery terminal. It's stored from the end of October until April or May every year and it fires right up.
do most of you guys put your vette in storage for the winter, I put mine away in a storage shed and have a battery tender on it, I hope it is ok
Mine is in the garage with a cover and battery tender. I check it every few weeks to be sure no critters have moved in. If we get some milder weather and there's no salt on the roads, I'll take it out, but that's rare here in NE Illinois.

Mine is under the car cover with a battery tender connected to it as I type this. May be a while before it comes out since we had snow last week and the roads were treated with salt. Expecting snow again on Sunday too.
First winter for me ever storing a car so I read lots of threads about this myself. CTEK Battery Tender, Stabil in the fuel, Race Ramps Flat Stoppers and inside a CarCapsule. Parked it in late November after my bday and it will stay parked probably until late March/early April.

I like you C5R body kit...I have the same one on my'03 vert. minus the front spoiler as roads are bad here. I am afraid to post pics here on the forum as most members seem to be purists, lol. I get nothing but compliments on the kit and many state that the car should have been factory equipped with it. Greetings, Rob
Hey guys when storing your Corvette don't forget the mouse traps..all the car covers and maintainers are for not when you have a large extended family of rodents living in your car.
No shed..shed and cover = rodents of all kind....just keep it in the garage on a battery tender...I start mine up at least once a week and drive it when the streets are clean and dry.
Mine is stored at my carport. Stays under a light cover to keep critters and dust off, and I drive all winter as long as the streets are clean and dry. May have to make it more of a driver for awhile; the Ranger is probably going to need a clutch, and labor ain't cheap.
