Tuning is the key lots of time spent on part throttle cruise decel not just a big peak hp thats too easy.

Although non lsx Im running over 260@050 and a grandma could drive it, carbed to boot
so much smaller cam and tuning capabilities of the lsx should net you a way better mannered car Id imagine. IMO most "tuners"miss the drivability part of tuning as most are obesses with a big hp # or their tune is "no good"

Tuning is the key and you can have what you want

Back in my LS1Tech days I recall Vengence Racing out of the Atlanta area having a H/C package that would put out 500WHP. Doing a quick search I found this and read through it quickly. Knowing that SW back in the day gave them a vote of confidence is important if you know who he is or was on this forum.

I think that Trickflow 225's, a cam something the size of 240/250, a fast 102 intake, headers, and a tuner that is willing to put lots of time into the driveability may be able to hit 500rwhp and drive nicely.

I have a cam only this size and literally drives better than it did stock.

Good info. I wonder about the fast 102? It wasn't mentioned. OP = Contact England Green and talk to them about this goal. It can be done.
