Default Stainless Dash Trim Kit

Has anyone purchased this kit for their C5?

I have the 50th Anniversary model, shale interior and dash. I am curious about fitment and overall appearance. Any helpers ?

Thanks ahead.

I got this kit and the fit is good.
The stainless steel is stiff enough and not flimsy.
They recommend prebending it a bit to fit well but that is easy to do and not really an issue.
I only used the 4 rings for the vents and passed on installing the rectangles since I didn't like that part of the look.
I have a grey marble interior kit and used the pieces from that for the ac and radio.
I also got the 2 rings for the door bezels which is another 40.00.
I had the guy who made the grey marble make me the 2 pieces for the DIC and HUD in his stainless steel (last pic) but his stuff is very thin and coated with clear urethane.
I also upgraded to chrome ***** and painted the faces on them black.

I have also purchased that kit. I too only used the four vent trim rings, and not the radio and a/c rectangles. Anybody want them? The vent trim looks very good and is quite sturdy. Really sets off the dash along with the gage bezels in aluminum. I think I have a pic somewhere, I'll post it if I can find it. BTW, I didn't do any of the other stuff like the previous poster did.

The gauge rings for the instruments are very nice too.
The car should have had them and the vent rings to begin with.
Ah, the blue collar budget supercar
Mine are the silver plastic ones which are also about 40.00 but they match the vent rings and my Autometer Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges pretty good.
I carefully used 5 minute epoxy to glue them in and not make a mess as the 2 way tape strips that were supplied were not very good.
For those you have to pull the cluster out and open it up which is a bit of a job in itself.
I had another set of the DIC HUD rings made without the coating and they match the vent rings much better but are very thin to handle.
I'll post a pic of them later today.

I already have the gauge rings, one of my first mods many years ago. I have actually installed many sets for friends as I enjoy the challenge and though it takes time, it is NOT a bad install once you have done it a time or two.

I also have the shifter panel in brushed look.

Again, mine is the shale/neutral interior, and I am asking if anyone has it and how happy they are with it.

With limited feedback, I am holding OFF on the purchase. Car looks good as is, and for $200 I could spend the money elsewhere.

I like the look of it around the DIC and HUD only. You had those made? Where.

The guy I bought my grey marble kit from.
Scroll down the ad to see his different materials.

It was the brushed aluminum style but I asked him to do it without the urethane coating,
The parts were very thin without coating but I wanted something to match the look of the stainless steel rings.
I sanded the edges with 180 paper since there was a little flash from the laser cutting,
I can take some more close up pictures and PM you if you are really interested and I'll refer you to his gmail address.

I had him make these carbon fiber A pillar trims in his material since all the other guys sell cheap thin decals.
This is actual pictures I took of them on my car for him so he made the DIC HUD rings coated and uncoated no charge for me.
I sent him decals and basically gave him a new product to sell.

I have the pair of the coated aluminum ones I could send you since I don't need them.
I'll take some pics of them later today and PM you.
