Question: this week is was 39 degrees in my garage. Have my vette covered since November 24 inside my garage. Today it was 64 degrees outside and when I removed the cover, I had condensation on the exterior sides of the car, normal?
So I opened everything up and aired out the car. Dried the cover and tucked her back in. Dustop cover.
I thought the car's interior could have been colder than the exterior. Anything to worry about or was I really paying attention in science class?
My car's been sitting in the garage for a few weeks now. Normally I'd drive it in the winter, I don't care if it's cold as long as the roads are clean. But we've had snow recently so the car hasn't moved and when I opened the garage today to do something outside (it was around 60 degrees) my car immediately started fogging up. Not too happy about that since it was clean and dry.
Warmer humid outside air hitting surfaces in a cold(er) dry(er)enclosure=condensation. I have gone in the garage at times and ended up with the motorcycle actually dripping on the floor. Happens any time of the year.
