For those that are doing, or have done their valve covers. By that i mean when you sand off the letters below the word "CORVETTE", do you put bondo on the front as well as the back side. I put bondo on the back and sanded the front smooth, but do i need to put it on the front also? Thanks in advance.

I've not done this myself, But I would think as long as you are able to get the smooth results you need prior to finishing, it really does not matter how you achieve it, but you probably would need to build up some surface area in top to get there.
