Default Newb question about some error codes.

The only codes I show are RFA related:
C2100, C2105, C2110, C2115 TPS sensors

And
U1000 Loss of Communication Undetermined
U1064 Loss of Communication with BCM

Now it seems like I get a message on the DIC "traction control active" but I still seem to get quite a bit of slide. I have only had my car a month and haven't tried to do a donut yet, but it seems like I could even though traction control is active.

What do I check first? I was going to get all new sensors since the tire shop couldn't seem to get a reading off them, would that cause the communication issues? Thanks for the help.

Yes, I have cleared the codes and those are the only ones that come back. It's an '01 Coupe with nearing 80k miles on it. The dealership put new tires on it when they got it, but didn't do anything with the sensors.

After reading a bit more, it sounds like either the batteries or the sensors are dead. I wil order up a set of sensors and go from there.

The suffix of the DTC is very important:

H: history
C: current
HC: history and current

C or HC suffix should be the only one that you should be concerned about.

Record and then erase the H suffix DTCs.

OK, the codes show as follows:

BO-RFA
C2100 HC
C2105 HC
C2110 HC
C2115 HC

U1000 H
U1064 H

I cleared the codes and went for a short drive, I so XXX for tire pressure in all 4 corners and the only code that came back is the U1064 H under RFA.

I appears the sensors in the wheels all have dead batteries, or at least have not been programmed. That s why the DIC reads XXX.

The traction codes that were cleared and have not returned should be ignored for now. those codes can happen on occasion when you get some wheel spin etc.
I don't have my book with me, but the H1064 may be a code from the steering sensor.\, that too can give you a TC active handling error.

Thanks for the help. I was going to wait to get new sensors when I get new wheels, but I think I'll just get some now and see if that works.

I had a slow leak in the bead of the passenger rear due to the chrome on the lip peeling. It seems to be fixed now after the 3rd try, but then I got a screw in my tire over my xmas road trip. I was able to get it fixed after I spotted it late Saturday. A functional tps would come in handy for things like this.
