A DIFFERENT header question for those who have them...
I'm going to be dropping in my old LS3 based 418 into my 04 Z and have a header question.
I used TSP 1 7/8" headers in the former car with the 418 (02 camaro) and had issues with oil temps, partly I believe from the headers being so close to my remote oil block and lines.
I'm wondering what brand YOU run and what clearance you have at the oil filter location? This is of more concern to me then a couple of hp difference, as well as ground clearance.
Thanks in advance for all responses!

I run Dynamax and had the same problem. I've seen Kooks and other brands all do the same. I ran some silver heat sleaves over the lines and wrap the oil filters with a self adhesive heat wrap with a couple strips of duct tape around it to make sure it stays on. I use K&N filters with the nut on the bottom so I can wrap the fiters on the bench then install them already wrapped. No problems now and I've tracked on 100 deg days.
Are the headers coated? FWIW coatings do help, maybe find a local shop that can coat them? I'm pretty sure that would have an impact and reduce some heat
I have had both the ARH and currently XS on my LS3. Both about the same on ground clearance meaning no scraping except at BIG speed bumps and adequate access to the oil filter. Taking the old one out is harder than putting the new one in but not terrible.
