ok if I get 25 feet away from the wall what is the correct height to the top of the high or low beam to be properly adjusted for the vertical height?
NInja
About 22 inches for the low beam. no need to adjust highs. The gov regulation states that projection headlights should drop 2 to 3 inches at 25 feet measured from the center of the light to the ground. 22 inches at 25 feet will get you in the ballpark.
Do you have the Radioflyer's modified ACAs with Bi-Xenon Projectors or just the regular ACAs? It's not really clear, although by your description of the problem it seems it's just the regular ACAs.
The regular ACAs have the low and high beams misaligned. Radioflyer's modified ACAs with Bi-Xenon projectors have this problem corrected, even though with the Bi-Xenon you really don't need the separate high beam reflector.
With the regular ACAs when you properly aim the lows, the highs are pointed to the ground
Did you modify the headlight bracket for clearance? See the attached thread by patches. If not the lights may not be sitting in the bracket correctly and the ribs may limit your ability to adjust the lights.
With Radioflyer's modified ACAs there's no need to cut or grind the bracket ribs because he uses Morimoto Mini projectors, which are smaller than the ACAs' original projectors.
George looked at my light beams and diagnosed my problem as wires reversed...he was spot on......changed wires and got better beams.
My low beams perform well on pavement and look very powerful, however, when turning on the hi beams they are wide and high and I can't see much of an on the road improvement as I would have thought.
Very dark roads here in my mountain areas, so want the most dynamic and powerful bright white lighting I can get to see these deer before they see me...
With the LED high beams we now offer, there is no need to do an alignment adjustment as the LED high beam is more of a floodlight than a spotlight.
Yes George, the floodlight effect is what I am seeing currently after my initial zeroing last night. It really does flood the area in front of the car with light, however, I would prefer having a directed intense white pointed and focused bright light as my high beams to co-inside for a more effective dynamic on the road projection.
Am currently at mountain home in western NC, sorry for the confusion, on location.....10 days ago in Florida, snowbound temporarily, which allows me to have the time to do the upgrades on the C5.

Have you checked to see whether you have all 4 lights on when you turn on the high beams? Could it be you are loosing the Bi-Xenon projectors when you switch to high beams and are being left with just the 2 LED high beams?
