I have a 2004 corvette.My battery keeps dying. I have noticed that my antenna doesn't go down everytime I turn the car off and I hear it trying to go down. This may be a silly question but could that be the reason why my battery keeps dying?
You probably have something causing a drain. Something that is constantly drawing power from the battery when it's not supposed to, like when the car is off.
Pull fuse #24 (antenna) from the inside passenger fuse box and see if that fixes your drain. If not, you need to do formal battery drain diagnostics. Let us know what we can do to help.
If you keep hearing the motor trying to pull the antenna down after the engine is turned off then it very likely is the cause (or one of the causes) of the drain.
