Default Selling a C5

I have a 99 C5 coupe MN6 I'm considering selling. I'm concered that with no parts available to repair the BCM/ABS and the glairing lights on the gauge cluster, I may have a tough sale.

You thoughts appreciated.

almost anything will sell it's just the price that needs to be determined

be prepared to discount 1500-2000 off going rate if the ecbm is dead

I agree that some parts are still available depending on what is wrong and it will sell provided it is priced right.

The ecbm is dead.
There are 2 service lights. 1. Service traction control. 2. Service ABS.

Tanks for your input

They have two ecbm on sell in parts right now for 700.00 a unit. You have a 99 they need the V ecbm. Sorry they are hard to find and double the price .

When selling it's best if everything is working. Former car dealer.

Keep it . Drives fine even with lights I imagine . Great car that won’t bring much $ . Pain to sell like it is , so keep it .

I had the same concern with my 03 ae (abs/tc lites on). There is a repair shop on the internet called abs fixer that will repair your module for about a hundred and a half. Had mine repaired, quick turn around, and guaranteed repairs. Still no problems a year later.
