Not my car... pics are from another forum. Sizes are 18x10 and 18x11.5 with 335's out back. CCWs also come w/silver centers... but this is the one and only style CCW makes. Wheels are ~$425/each.
Alright, so when I order my MY Z I have this 5K boulder tied to my neck because I'll have to go get some HRE's. However, there has to be alternatives. What else have you put on your Z that looks good but won't cost so much.
I've done Kinesis, BBS, SSR, on other cars. But it seems HRE is the law around here. Post pictures of different wheels. HRE's are welcomed too.
Take a look at Simmons. The reseller in the US is Group A Wheels. http://www.groupawheels.com is the site. They have a quicksilver Z06 with a set of Simmons F-Series.
If you're interested, call the West Coast office and speak with Jeff. Excellent company to deal with and the wheels are absolutely fantastic. I have them on the C4 and they've been great. You'll end up paying around $3k for nice tires and wheels. Custom colors / polishing is available as well.
Everyone that has HRE's always bitches about the service from the company. When they are put up for sale in the parts section they always have scratches or pits so that lends me to think that they are easy to damage.
I went with the CCW's and Pilot Sports. They have the strongest wheels and in my opinion look better. Of course I think chrome looks like crap, if thats what your into maybe the CCW's are not for you.

The polished finish always is the worst to take care of ... the HRE wheels are of good quality ... the polish is just hard to maintain, that is why I like the standard setup or if I get Fikse's the TechniPolish brushed aluminum look ... HRE's are like jewelry ... they look great ... but cant handle much abuse ...
I was getting my chrome Z06 wheels put on and in the shop saw a vette with American Raciing wheels on it-looked similar to an HRE 540 series, says he payed <$2K for the set...grey mag in the cntr with a chrome polish on the outer-looked really sharp.
