Can anyone tell me what is different in the fixed roof against the coupe. I read
on one forum that in 99 the made the fixed roof with a little more horsepower.
I'm looking at a 99 pewter frc. I'm currently a c4 owner and want a z06 but can't
bring myself to sell the c4 to buy the zo6 so i'm thinking about settling for the
fixed roof coupe. any suggestions?
A '99 FRC won't compare to a Z06 in performance, but if you like that body style, it's a less expensive route. The biggest difference between the coupe and the FRC is that the FRC is much more rigid, since it doesn't have the removable roof panel.
No engine difference in 1999/2000 between FRC & the others - 350/345hp. All had 6-speed, Z51, black interior only. I've got a nice 2000 listed on a separate post.
